Lia leads a normal life. She goes to work and takes care of her daughter. While visiting her parents she is reminded that her life is not that normal after all. Several years ago she had a severe car accident leaving half her face scarred. Especially her anxious mother makes Lia feel insecure again and her despair leads to an emotional outburst.
