My family bought "The Cat In the Hat" on DVD when it was first released on DVD. I suppose my kids were about 5 and 9 years old at the time. We watched it together but none of us liked it. Decent watch, might watch again, and can recommend, but more for older audiences. While "The Cat in the Hat" is a famous children's book, this is clearly just aimed at the folks that might have read it when they were children.
