A tragicomic story of two people who seem to have grown sick of life. Harry and Sally are a middle-aged married couple. Harry tried to commit suicide. So Sally persuaded him to play golf, enabling him to escape from thinking about unpleasant things. However, Sally has less and less strength for the daily struggle to restore her husband's will to live. Both of them, in their well-ordered and predictable lives, more or less consciously pursue self-destruction.
