The marriage of Julia and Paul is on the rocks: time has taken it's toll. They've grown apart, stopped having sex together and he resents his wife being the breadwinner of the family. Based on a tip from a co-worker, Julia suggests they go to a weekend retreat to try and become closer to one another, and Paul reluctantly agrees.
