While taking part in the Rif war in Morocco, José, a military retiree from the Spanish Air Force, witnessed the bombing and dropping of toxic mustard gas on civilian populations. 60 years later, he decides to return to the scene of the "crime", and discovers a large part of the population infected with cancer and a desolate landscape.
