The short film *Paper and Ivy* tells a story of self-love, queer love, and unrequited love through imaginative metaphors. With few words, but through ivy vines, flowing piano music, singing, and drawings, it describes the feeling of being different, the self-hatred that can come with it, and the eventual acceptance of one’s own individuality.
