23-year-old Alina lives in St. Petersburg and devotes herself entirely to music. She finally secures an offer to work abroad. Suddenly, Alina learns that her beloved grandmother, 70-year-old Nuria, who taught her music, is suffering from severe dementia. She spends her last money on a ticket home to Tatarstan to see her.
