Set against the backdrop of a fading small town legacy home in india, the film explores love, loss and resilience in the aftermath of unexpected tragedy. On one spectrum we live it through the innocence of a child and his unconditional bond with a wounded puppy as he is comforted by wisdom & on the other through the eyes of two young adults coming to terms with tragedy reshaping intimacy and belonging. Hiraeth explores what longing to "belong to" truly means for the characters tracing the journey of pain, healing and wholeness in the quiet search for the "home" they crave, or that once was.
