**_Hampered by noticeably bad ‘B’ acting, but dynamic, comic booky SoCal youth-cult horror_** When a popular boy band from Los Angeles loses its frontman, the manager (Adrienne Barbeau) conducts an American Idol-like contest to enlist a new singer.
