Maya sees a wasp following Miss Cassandra. She investigates and discovers that Stinger plans to kidnap Cassandra and demand nectar as ransom. The wasp that was supposed to follow Cassandra, Vesper, has fallen in love with Cassandra and wants to help Maya and her friends foil the plan.
