Given "Scare Me" takes place mostly in a small winter cabin, the movie rests squarely on the shoulders of a very small cast. Aya Cash, a recent standout of Amazon's "The Boys" season 2, is excellent in this tight, compact thriller about two authors (one successful, one struggling) trying to scare each other with impromptu stories. This reminded me of <I>Gothic (1986)</I> just being modernized. So this movie was quite the journey, definitely something I haven't seen but it definitely give you an experience in storytelling among strangers. Aya Cash can tell me scary stories anytime. She is quite good at it! This movie definitely is different and won't be up the alley of many people. But I say check it out, at least y...
