This movie is really critical to the understanding many people have of Mike Nesmith and The Monkees. Who's to say where film might be if we had not been given this masterpiece.

What a flick! Must watch for any Monkees enthusiasts, and even for those who aren't fans (not to spoil anything, but the film could be read through an anti-Monkee lens). I was blown away by the production value; I often forgot it was created in 1998 because the set dressing was so period accurate to the 60's! Loved all the costumes.
