Darsono, the son of a poor farmer, fights against many difficulties and challenges to reach his dream. His father does not understand the importance of education. Even so this barrier never diminish the hope of his future and dreams he builds together with Jamhari, his best friend since childhood, who always support him. His friendship with Jamhari and the struggle to tackle the poverty, social conflicts in society, and his affair with Ika become a unity of signs in his symphony of life.
