He was a finalist in the So You Think You're Funny Competition at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in 1998 and nominated for the Perrier Best Newcomer Award at the Edinburgh Fringe festival two years later. He starred as Jeffers in the 2006-2007 Sci-Fi sitcom Hyperdrive and played Jesus in The Da Vinci Code, though his scenes were ultimately cut.
