She starred as Buttercup in the 2016 Powerpuff Girls series that aired on Cartoon Network. The show was released in April 4, 2016 in the United States.[1][2] She won Best Newcomer at the Edinburgh Comedy Awards in 2017. Palamides plays the character "Mara" in TV commercials for Progressive Insurance.
