Known for Directing

Camilo Luzuriaga is an Ecuadorian writer, producer, and filmmaker. He was professor of photography at the Faculty of Arts of the Central University of Ecuador from 1982 to 1987, and professor of image at the Faculty of Architecture and Design of the Catholic University of Ecuador until 1999. He works as a teacher and is one of the founders of INCINE, Higher Technological Institute of Cinema and Acting. In 2001 he founded OCHO Y MEDIO, and in 2003 MAAC CINE, to form the first network of art cinema theaters in Ecuador. He is know for films like La Tigra (1989), Entre Marx y una mujer desnuda (1996) and 1809-1810: mientras llega el día (2004).
