On television, Thompson gained widespread attention for her roles as Karen Sammler on "Once and Again," Moira Queen on the CW series "Arrow," Queen Rose Benjamin on NBC’s "Kings," and for her appearances in the Star Trek universe, notably as Dr. Lenara Kahn in "Star Trek: Deep Space Nine" and the Borg Queen in "Star Trek: Voyager." Her film credits include prominent roles in "Little Giants," "Ghosts of Mississippi," "Random Hearts," "Dragonfly," and "Malignant."
